COATESVILLE, PA — Authorities in Coatesville are investigating a late-night shooting that left multiple homes and vehicles riddled with bullet holes, though no injuries have been reported.
According to the Coatesville Police Department, officers responded to the 300 and 400 blocks of Community Lane on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at approximately 11:32 p.m., following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police discovered that over 30 shots had been fired, striking at least six occupied residences and four unoccupied vehicles in the area.
Detectives were called to the scene to assess the damage and gather evidence. As part of the ongoing investigation, a search warrant was executed early Wednesday morning at a residence located at 406 Community Lane. Police report that four firearms were recovered from the location, including one untraceable “ghost gun.”
The motive and those responsible for the shooting remain unknown at this time. Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the case.
Detective-Sergeant Brandon L. Harris of the Coatesville Police Department is leading the investigation. Officials are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact detectives at 610-679-6041.
