Two Wounded in Wilmington Nighttime Shooting; Police Seek Public’s Help

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are actively investigating a shooting that left two people injured on Monday night in the city’s East Side neighborhood.

According to authorities, officers responded at approximately 9:23 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the unit block of East 25th Street. Upon arrival, police discovered that two gunshot victims — a 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man — had already been transported to a local hospital. Both victims were reported to be in stable condition.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain limited as detectives continue their investigation. Police have not yet released information regarding any potential suspects or motive.
