PHILADELPHIA, PA — Chestnut Hill’s eagerly awaited Home + Garden Festival returns, transforming the vibrant Urban Village into a spring showcase this Sunday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Taking over the 8000 to 8600 blocks of Germantown Avenue, the festival will feature nearly 300 vendors, family-friendly activities, and access to more than 200 businesses within the Chestnut Hill Business District. For the duration of the event, Germantown Avenue will be closed to traffic, creating a pedestrian-friendly experience.

The festival offers a variety of attractions, from home improvement displays to unique garden art, lawn care essentials, vintage goods, and jewelry. Highlights include live craft demonstrations in the Maker’s Village, where visitors can watch artisans at work with pottery, macramé, and bulb layering. Families will enjoy the observation hive, providing an up-close look at honeybees and their vital ecological roles.
