Teenager’s Life Cut Short in Tragic Wilmington Shooting – Police Seek Answers

WILMINGTON, DE — A 16-year-old male tragically passed away following a shooting incident on Monday evening in Wilmington.

The Wilmington Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 6:27 p.m. on March 10, on the 200 block of West 25th Street. Officers arrived to find the teen suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which remains under active investigation.
