Lane restrictions

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced plans to install new traffic signals along Island Avenue in Philadelphia as part of a local safety improvement initiative. The work is set to begin on Monday, March 10, and will continue through Friday, March 21.

To accommodate the installation, weekday lane closures will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the intersections of Island Avenue with Lindbergh Boulevard and Chelwynde Avenue. Motorists traveling through the affected areas are advised to anticipate delays and consider alternative routes. PennDOT has noted that all scheduled activities may be impacted by weather conditions.
