Knife-Wielding Suspect Sparks Fear in Manor Creek Shopping Center Robbery Attempt

NEW CASTLE, DE — Authorities are investigating a reported robbery that occurred Sunday afternoon at Manor Creek Shopping Center in New Castle.

On January 26, 2025, at approximately 1:08 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to a report of an alleged robbery in the parking lot of the shopping center, located at 1413 North Dupont Parkway. According to investigators, a male suspect reportedly approached the victim, displayed a knife, and demanded personal property. During a struggle between the two, the suspect fled the scene without obtaining any items. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing between 6’0” and 6’3”, and weighing between 220-240 pounds. He was last seen wearing tan pants and a green hooded sweatshirt. At this time, surveillance footage has not been made available.
