WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man faces multiple felony drug and weapons charges after Delaware State Police executed a search warrant at his residence as part of a long-term narcotics investigation.
According to Delaware State Police, detectives with the Special Investigations Unit obtained a search warrant following a lengthy investigation into alleged drug distribution activities.
Police executed the warrant July 27 at a residence in the 400 block of Carver Drive with assistance from the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team. Investigators reported that Ikiem Hall, 45, was taken into custody without incident.
According to police, detectives recovered approximately 174 grams of suspected cocaine, four firearms — including one reported stolen — ammunition, a digital scale and other items they allege were consistent with drug distribution.
Hall was charged with four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity, four counts of possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of a violent felony, four counts of possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited who also possesses a controlled substance, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited due to a prior violent crime or felony, and receiving a stolen firearm.
Following arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court, Hall was committed to the Delaware Department of Correction on $293,000 cash bail, according to police.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
