USPS Hiring for the Holidays in West Chester and Greater Philadelphia Area

As the holidays approach, the United States Postal Service is preparing for an expected increase in packages and is ramping up its hiring efforts. In addition to its traditional seasonal hiring, the Postal Service stated that it is also looking to fill a number of full-time and part-time positions at its processing centers in Philadelphia. The added staff will help to operate a new, high-speed package sorting machine that has been installed at the center. With the additional staff and new equipment, the Postal Service is confident that it will be able to handle the expected increase in holiday packages.

To assist potential applicants, USPS stated that personnel will be onsite at the job fair to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a background investigation.
