CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Drivers in West Nantmeal and Wallace townships should prepare for daytime road closures beginning Monday, August 17, as PennDOT base repairs shut down sections of Lewis Mills Road/Creek Road and Indian Run Road.

Lewis Mills Road/Creek Road will be closed and detoured between Route 82 (Manor Road) and Chestnut Tree Road from Monday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 19.
Drivers will be directed to use Route 82 (Manor Road), U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and Chestnut Tree Road to travel around the closure.
Beginning Wednesday, August 19, Indian Run Road will be closed and detoured on weekdays between Route 82 (Manor Road) and Springton Road. That restriction is scheduled to continue through Wednesday, August 26.
Drivers will be directed to use Route 82 (Manor Road), Fairview Road, Indiantown Road and Springton Road to travel around the Indian Run Road closure.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Motorists should plan extra time when traveling near either work area or along the posted detour routes because backups and delays may occur. Drivers who regularly use the affected roads should consider alternate routes when practical.
The work is weather dependent and could be postponed or rescheduled.
