CHARLESTOWN TWP, PA — Motorists traveling through northern Chester County should prepare for a daytime road closure next week as PennDOT replaces a pipe beneath Pikeland Road in Charlestown Township.

According to PennDOT, Pikeland Road will be closed between Church Road and Hollow Road from Tuesday, June 30, through Thursday, July 2, during daytime work hours.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Church Road, Charlestown Road, and Hollow Road to travel around the work zone.
