Stormwater Work to Cause Lane Closures in Chester County, Expect Delays

Traffic, flagging

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced stormwater improvements in Chester County, which will result in lane closures and potential traffic delays.

From Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, a lane closure is scheduled on Cedar Hollow Road between Jacqueline Drive and West Central Avenue in Willistown Township. The closure will occur daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for stormwater replacement.

The following week, from Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, Embreeville Road will be closed between West Chester Road and Hazelwood Avenue in West Bradford and Caln townships. Motorists will be directed to use West Chester Road, Stouff Road/South Bailey Road, and Hazelwood Avenue during the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM closure. Local access will be maintained.

Drivers should allow extra time when traveling near these work areas as backups and delays are expected. The schedule is weather dependent.
