Route 82 Roundabout Update: Expect Traffic Changes

Traffic Alert

WEST BRANDYWINE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) continues its work on improving the intersection of Route 82 (Manor Road) and Cedar Knoll Road/Reeceville Road in West Brandywine Township. Starting Monday, September 9, through Friday, September 13, periodic lane closures will occur on Route 82 between Red Oak Drive and Porter Lane from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

This project aims to enhance traffic flow and safety with the construction of a single-lane roundabout. Major construction wrapped up earlier this month, including a full-depth reconstruction of the intersection and the installation of new lighting and storm sewer drainage systems. Remaining tasks include permanent lighting and landscaping.

Marino Corporation of Skippack, Montgomery County, leads the $1.5 million project, funded entirely by federal resources. The improvements promise to streamline travel and boost safety for area motorists.
