UPPER UWCHLAN TWP, PA — Motorists traveling through northern Chester County should prepare for daytime slowdowns next week as PennDOT schedules inlet repair work along a busy stretch of Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in Upper Uwchlan Township.
PennDOT said the work will take place Monday, December 15, through Friday, December 19, with a lane closure on southbound Route 100 at the Park Road intersection from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. The operation is weather dependent.
Drivers are advised to allow additional travel time as backups and delays are expected during the daytime work window, particularly during late-morning and early-afternoon hours.
The inlet repairs are part of PennDOT’s ongoing maintenance efforts to improve drainage and roadway conditions along one of Chester County’s key commuter routes.
