Road Resurfacing in Willistown to Cause Traffic Delays

Traffic Restrictions

WILLISTOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a resurfacing project slated for next week in Chester County. This effort is part of a broader initiative to improve stormwater management facilities in the Philadelphia region.

From Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2, drivers can expect lane closures on Cedar Hollow Road. The affected section stretches between Jacqueline Drive and West Central Avenue in Willistown Township. The closures will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.

PennDOT advises motorists to plan for extra travel time when navigating these work areas. Traffic backups and delays are expected. The schedule for this project is weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor overseeing this state-funded project.
