Resurfacing Operations Coming Soon to I-76 Ramps and State Highways in Philadelphia, Chester, and Montgomery Counties

Interstate 76

GREATER PHILADELPHIA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that resurfacing operations are scheduled on Interstate 76 ramps and other state highways in Philadelphia, Chester, and Montgomery counties, under several projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia Region.

The work schedules and locations are:

Philadelphia

  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on the eastbound I-76 ramp to Passyunk Avenue for paving;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on the Passyunk Avenue ramp to westbound I-76 for paving;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Walnut Street between Cobbs Creek Parkway and 33rd Street for milling;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled Bartram Avenue between Island Avenue and the Delaware County line for prepping, milling, and paving; and
  • Tuesday, September 12, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Walnut Street between Cobbs Creek Parkway and 33rd Street for prepping.

Chester County

  • Sunday, September 10, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Morehall Road) between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland and Charlestown townships for milling and paving;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Morehall Road) between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland and Charlestown townships for casting adjustments, milling, and paving;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Nutt Road) between Route 113 (Kimberton Road) and Route 29 (Main Street/Manavon Street) in Phoenixville Borough for casting adjustments and paving;
  • Monday, September 11, though Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Gulph Road between County Line Road and Worthington Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County and Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, for milling and paving; and
  • Sunday, September 17, through Thursday, September 21, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Route 472 (Market Street) and Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) in Oxford Borough and Lower Oxford, Upper Oxford, and West Fallowfield townships for milling.

  • Sunday, September 10, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Swedeland Road between South Gulph Road and Route 320 (Holstein Road) in Upper Merion Township for paving;
  • Sunday, September 10, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Swedeland Road/Holstein Road/South Gulph Road) between Route 23 (River Road) and Matsonford Road in Upper Merion Township and Route 320 (Spring Mill Road) between Montgomery Avenue and County Line Road in Lower Merion Township for milling and paving;
  • Sunday, September 10, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on High Street between Manatawny Street and the Berks County line in Pottstown Borough and West Pottsgrove Township for sealing operations;
  • Monday, September 11, through Wednesday, September 13, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Swedeland Road between South Gulph Road and Route 320 (Holstein Road) in Upper Merion Township for paving;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on High Street between Manatawny Street and the Berks County line in Pottstown Borough and West Pottsgrove Township for sealing operations;
  • Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Swedeland Road/Holstein Road/South Gulph Road) between Route 23 (River Road) and Matsonford Road in Upper Merion Township and Route 320 (Spring Mill Road) between Montgomery Avenue and County Line Road in Lower Merion Township for utility adjustments, milling, and paving;
  • Tuesday, September 12, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Swedeland Road between South Gulph Road and Route 320 (Holstein Road) in Upper Merion Township for utility adjustments;
  • Tuesday, September 12, through Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Lewis Road between Linfield Trappe Road and Main Street in Royersford and Limerick townships for milling and paving; and
  • Wednesday, September 13, through Friday, September 15, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on High Street between Pleasant View Road and Roland Street in Pottstown Borough and Lower Pottsgrove Township for sealing operations.
