Plan Your Commute: PennDOT Announces Stormwater Management Improvements and Lane Closure in East Whiteland

EAST WHITELAND TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled improvements to upgrade stormwater management systems in East Whiteland Township, Chester County.

From Monday, August 26, through Thursday, August 29, a lane closure will be in effect on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Willing Way and Phoenixville Pike for stormwater replacement activities. The closure is set to occur daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time when passing through the work areas as traffic backups and delays are anticipated. The schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
