KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming milling and paving operations on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, with lane closures expected to impact traffic throughout the week.
On Monday, April 21, and Tuesday, April 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Broad Run Road will be restricted to a single lane between Good Hope Road and Newark Road in London Britain and New Garden townships, Chester County.
From Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, lane closures will occur with flagging on Kutztown Road between Route 663 (Layfield Road) and Schwenkenfelder Road in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County. These closures are also scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
Additionally, nighttime lane closures are planned on Route 291 (4th Street/Industrial Highway/Governor Printz Boulevard) between Harrah’s Boulevard and Bartram Avenue in the City of Chester, Eddystone Borough, and Tinicum Township, Delaware County. These restrictions will be in place from Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM the following morning.
Motorists traveling through work zones should allocate extra travel time as delays and backups are anticipated. All work schedules are contingent on favorable weather conditions.
