WEST GOSHEN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming overnight lane closures on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in West Goshen Township as part of a broader corridor improvement project aimed at enhancing safety and traffic flow.

From Tuesday, July 8, through Friday, July 11, motorists can expect lane closures with flagging in both directions between Paoli Pike and Strasburg Road. Work will take place nightly from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. PennDOT has urged drivers to plan for additional travel time, warning of potential backups and delays. All operations are weather dependent.

The project, which also affects East Gay Street and Route 3 (Market Street), is part of ongoing efforts to modernize key routes through Chester County. Highway Materials, Inc., based in Flourtown, is overseeing the work. The initiative is fully funded by federal dollars.
