PHILADELPHIA, PA — PennDOT announced that a section of Tacony Street in Northeast Philadelphia will close early Tuesday, October 21, for overhead bridge construction tied to the ongoing I-95/BS2 reconstruction project.
The closure will take place from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM between Aramingo Avenue and Bridge Street. During this time, northbound drivers will be detoured via Aramingo/Harbison Avenue and Bridge Street, while southbound motorists will follow Bridge Street and Aramingo/Harbison Avenue to rejoin Tacony Street.
Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
