CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Drivers traveling westbound on U.S. 30 at night should prepare for more than a month of moving lane closures beginning Monday, August 31, as crews repaint highway lines along the Coatesville Downingtown Bypass.

The restrictions are part of a $9.3 million project to preserve the western section of the Coatesville Downingtown Bypass and improve travel and safety.
Additional work includes milling, base repairs, applying a new asphalt surface, reinstalling edge-line rumble strips, and restoring pavement markings.
Allan Myers Inc., of Worcester, is the general contractor. The project is financed entirely with state funding.
