Lane Closures Scheduled in Chester County for Stormwater Improvements and Paving

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures in Chester County for stormwater improvements and paving operations.

From Monday, August 19, through Friday, August 23, lane closures will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:

  • Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Willing Way and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland Township for stormwater replacement.
  • Cedar Hollow Road between Jacqueline Drive and West Central Avenue in Willistown Township for paving.

Motorists should expect backups and delays and are advised to allow extra travel time through these work areas. The schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, serves as the general contractor for this project, which is funded entirely by state resources.
