Harmonyville Road Drivers Face Two Days of Detours

WARWICK TWP, PA — Motorists traveling through northern Chester County should prepare for daytime detours and possible delays as PennDOT closes a section of Harmonyville Road for pipe replacement work.

PennDOT said Harmonyville Road will be closed between Hopewell Road and Saint Peters Road on Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, while crews replace a pipe beneath the roadway.

During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 345 (Pine Swamp Road), Route 23 (Ridge Road), and Saint Peters Road to travel around the work zone.

Local access will be maintained throughout the project, according to PennDOT.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect changing traffic patterns and possible delays along both the detour route and nearby roads. Plan extra time for trips through Warwick Township and seek alternate routes when practical.
