Traffic Alert

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — PECO Energy has announced the commencement of utility construction on Central Avenue, impacting Tredyffrin and Willistown townships in Chester County. This project, scheduled from October 1 to December 20, will necessitate weekday road closures and detours between Valley Road and Cedar Hollow Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

During this period, motorists will be directed to alternate routes, including Valley Road and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. Local access will remain intact up to the construction zone, but travelers are advised to anticipate delays and plan for additional travel time. The progression of this project is contingent upon favorable weather conditions and is being executed under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
