Drivers should expect backups and slower travel through the work zone, particularly during peak commuting hours and overnight periods. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time, seek alternate routes when possible, and remain alert for changing traffic patterns.

The resurfacing work has been added to PennDOT’s broader $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve approximately 2.1 miles of U.S. 422 and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.

All work is weather dependent and schedules could change if conditions warrant.
