Core Borings Planned on U.S. 30 in Chester County at Night Next Week

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that core boring operations will take place next week on U.S. 30 (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass) in Sadsbury, West Caln and Valley townships, Chester County.

On Monday, September 25, through Thursday, September 28, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on sections of eastbound or westbound U.S. 30 (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass) from just east of Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) to the Route 82 (Manor Road) Interchange.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
