Chester County Road Work to Cause Traffic Slowdowns

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that resurfacing operations will cause lane closures and traffic slowdowns in Chester County starting Sunday, June 9.

On Sunday, June 9, and Monday, June 10, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Caln Road/Reeceville Road between Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) and Fisherville Road in Caln Township will have a lane closure for paving.

From Sunday, June 9, through Wednesday, June 12, Route 10 (Octorara Trail/Compass Road) will experience lane closures between U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) and Beaver Dam Road in West Sadsbury, Sadsbury West Caln, and Honey Brook townships from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Additionally, from Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 13, Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Route 472 (Market Street) and Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) in Oxford Borough and Lower Oxford, Upper Oxford, and West Fallowfield townships will face lane closures from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling and paving.

Motorists should allow extra time when traveling through these areas as slowdowns are expected. All work is weather dependent.
