PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two male suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in late January.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the incident unfolded on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at approximately 3:33 p.m. The shooting took place in the rear of 3044 N. Leithgow Street, where a male victim was fatally injured. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim but confirmed that an investigation by the department’s Homicide Unit is actively underway.

Surveillance video captured images of two male suspects believed to have been involved in the incident. Following the shooting, the individuals were observed leaving the area on foot. Their last known location was reported as being near the intersection of 4th and Somerset Streets. Police have not disclosed additional details regarding the suspects’ descriptions or any motive behind the shooting.

Authorities are urging members of the public to remain vigilant and to report any sightings of the suspects immediately by contacting 911.
