WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police officers responded to a disturbance on December 9, 2023, where a woman was reportedly attempting to force her way into a residence. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM in the 100 block of S. Adams St.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a verbal altercation between the residents and 34-year-old Veronica Santos Candelario of West Chester. Following an investigation on the scene, it was determined that Santos Candelario allegedly tried to gain physical entry into the home.
Santos Candelario was subsequently taken into custody. She faces charges of Attempted Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct. The preliminary hearing for these allegations is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
An arrest does not constitute a declaration of guilt, and Santos Candelario is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
