West Chester Man Arrested for Trespassing and Drug Possession at Local Pub

WEST CHESTER, PA — On Thursday, November 23, 2023, around 2:36 PM, West Chester Police responded to a trespassing report at Ryan’s Pub, located on the 100 block of W Gay Street in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, the police were led to the alleged trespasser by the pub staff.

The man was identified as Maxwell Pugh, a 22-year-old resident of West Chester. Pugh was taken into custody without incident. Following his arrest, officers conducted a search and allegedly found multiple types of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia in Pugh’s possession.

Pugh faces charges related to criminal trespassing, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. After his arrest, which was documented under Police Report ID# WC-23-36278, Pugh was transported to Chester County Prison. A preliminary hearing is pending with District Court 15-1-01.
