Upper Darby Man Arrested on Gun Charges in West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of Mohammad Khan, a 27-year-old from Upper Darby, for weapons violations on April 5, 2023.

According to the criminal complaint, at approximately 1:53 p.m., officers contacted two subjects occupying a parked vehicle on Brandywine Street near Barnard Street. During a search of the vehicle, officers found Mohammad Khan to be in possession of a concealed firearm and his permit revoked.

Khan was taken into custody without incident and transported to the West Chester Police Department for processing and later to the Chester County Prison where he was lodged for his charges. He is facing Firearms Not To Be Carried W/O License charges. A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-1-01.
