PHILADELPHIA, PA — Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of opening fire during an alleged robbery at a commercial property in West Philadelphia earlier this month.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department and its Shooting Investigation Unit, the incident occurred February 2 at approximately 7:01 p.m. at a business located in the 5400 block of Eadom Street. Police allege the suspect entered the establishment, announced “a robbery,” and shot a male victim during the course of the incident.
Authorities said the victim was struck by gunfire; the department did not immediately release details on the victim’s condition.
Police described the suspect as wearing a green ski mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt under a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black Jordan sneakers. Investigators have circulated video from the scene and are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the incident to come forward.
