Philadelphia Woman Arrested in Parkesburg, Chester County

PARKESBURG, PA — Amber N. King, a 44-year-old Philadelphia resident, was arrested in Parkesburg on November 11, 2023, after it was determined that she was a fugitive from justice. The arrest was made by the Parkesburg Borough Police Department during their response to a domestic dispute at the 400 block of West First Avenue.

During the investigation of the dispute, the police had contact with Ms. King and verified an active felony warrant held by the Philadelphia Police Department. Subsequently, Ms. King was taken into custody and charged as a fugitive from justice.

Post-arrest, Ms. King was transported to the Chester County Prison for holding, pending her extradition back to the City of Philadelphia.
