Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspects in Series of Violent Robberies

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals believed to be responsible for a string of violent robberies that occurred over a three-day period in mid-June in Center City.

According to police, the suspects are connected to three separate attacks targeting victims in parking lots and nearby sidewalks between June 14 and June 16, 2025.

The first incident took place on June 14 at approximately 9:30 p.m. A 62-year-old man had just parked his vehicle in a lot on the 900 block of Cherry Street and paid at a booth when he was approached by two unknown males. The suspects demanded his wallet, and when the victim attempted to flee, he was struck in the head and face, causing him to fall. While on the ground, the attackers continued to punch him before taking his wallet and fleeing. The victim suffered injuries to his head, legs, and left wrist.

Roughly an hour later, at 10:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man was walking near a parking lot on the 800 block of Arch Street when he was approached by an unknown male demanding his wallet. A second suspect tackled the victim from behind, and while on the ground, the assailants stole his wallet and AirPods, punching him in the face before escaping. The victim sustained bruising to the right side of his face.

The third incident occurred two days later on June 16 at approximately 9:30 p.m. A 16-year-old male was in a parking lot on the 100 block of North 9th Street when he was approached by two males dressed in black clothing and wearing masks. The suspects demanded money, and when the victim resisted, they attempted to take his phone. The suspects then allegedly began punching the victim in the head, threw him to the ground, and kicked him. During the struggle, $5 fell from the victim’s pocket, which the suspects took before fleeing.

Investigators have released photographs of the suspects and are urging anyone who recognizes them to contact the authorities. The public is advised not to approach the individuals if seen, but to call 911 immediately.
