PHILADELPHIA, PA — Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a man at gunpoint shortly after he withdrew money from an ATM in the city’s Germantown section.
According to investigators, the incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on October 31, 2025, along the 4300 block of Wayne Avenue. The victim told police he had gone to a nearby corner store to withdraw cash when he noticed a man watching him. As he walked home, the same individual allegedly approached him from behind, brandished a firearm, and demanded the money.
Police say the suspect fled west on Wayne Avenue after taking the victim’s cash. Surveillance footage from the area reportedly shows the individual walking south on Germantown Avenue before turning onto the block leading to the store where the incident occurred.
The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid-20s to 30s, wearing a black and orange North Face jacket over a gray hoodie, gray sweatpants, and yellow and blue “Ja 3 Hustle and Flow” sneakers.

All individuals suspected or accused of a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
