PARKESBURG, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of assaulting Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel in Parkesburg, according to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department.

The incident allegedly took place on January 31, 2024, in the 700 block of West Seventh Avenue. The suspect, Michael Gehret Rice, 39, is facing charges of aggravated assault and related offenses.

Rice is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 290 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. The warrant for his arrest was secured by police on February 6, 2024, by the District Court 15-3-07.
