Manhunt Ends: Suspect in Fatal Shooting Turns Himself In

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced that wanted 41-year-old Quinzell Chucky Mickey turned himself into authorities on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023.

On April 15th, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for the apprehension of 41-year-old Quinzell Chucky Mickey of Spring City, Chester County, for allegedly fatally shooting 33-year-old William Stafford, 33, on April 15, 2023, at the Park Springs Apartment Community in East Vincent Township.

According to the criminal complaint, on April 15, 2023, a shooting occurred at the Park Springs Apartment Community in East Vincent Township. The victim, William Stafford, was found lifeless with multiple gunshot wounds. Through the scrutiny of surveillance footage, Quinzell Chucky Mickey was identified as the perpetrator. Witnesses not only heard the sound of gunshots but also witnessed the assailant attacking the victim. The investigation, coupled with the accounts provided by eyewitnesses, played a crucial role in identifying the assailant.

Mickey has been charged with Murder Of The First Degree, Murder Of The Second Degree, Murder Of The Third Degree, Criminal Homicide, and numerous releated offenses.
