WARMINSTER, PA — A Sharon Hill man faces multiple charges following a series of alleged carjacking attempts in Warminster Township. On Saturday, May 11, 2024, at approximately 10:10 a.m., police responded to a report of a carjacking in progress at Christ Home on Shepherd Way.

Officers spoke with the first victim, who recounted that Hedrico Toure, identified by his red shorts and t-shirt, engaged them in conversation before attempting to steal their car. An argument and struggle ensued, leading the victim to strike Toure with a walking stick. Toure then fled the scene.

Shortly after, Toure allegedly approached a second victim and demanded their car keys. When the victim refused, another struggle broke out, during which Toure reportedly produced a knife. The victim threw coffee at Toure, causing him to flee again.

As officers investigated these incidents, they received a report of a third attempted robbery at 700 Joy Court. Victims three and four told officers that Toure had approached them as they arrived home. He engaged in conversation before allegedly producing a knife and attempting to stab them. Toure then jumped into their vehicle and drove off towards Norristown Road.

The police broadcasted details of the stolen vehicle to surrounding agencies. Horsham police located Toure in the stolen car, but he fled on foot upon being stopped. A foot pursuit and manhunt ensued in the area of Meetinghouse Road and County Line Road. After several hours, Toure was found hiding in a shed on Meetinghouse Road and taken into custody.

Toure was charged with the crimes committed in Warminster and remanded to Bucks County Prison on $1 million bail. Further investigation revealed that Toure had allegedly committed similar offenses in Bensalem and Upper Southampton Townships. On June 3, 2024, his criminal complaint and affidavit were amended and refiled, with bail set again at $1 million by Judge Chris O’Neill.
