WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating an alleged shooting that left two men hospitalized Monday evening after officers responded to reports of gunfire near West 8th and North Jackson Streets.
Authorities said the incident occurred at approximately 6:47 p.m. on December 1. Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A second victim, a 25-year-old man, was also found at the scene with gunshot injuries and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police have not released additional information about the circumstances surrounding the incident as the investigation remains active. Detectives are working to determine what led to the reported gunfire and whether additional individuals may have been involved.
