HARRISBURG, PA — Nathan R. Wolfe, a 41-year-old resident of Kittanning, was sentenced on Friday to a substantial term of 25 to 50 years in prison for his role in distributing fentanyl-laced cocaine, which led to the death of Eric McMillen in 2020. Wolfe was convicted in July on charges including third-degree murder, drug delivery resulting in death, aggravated assault, and involuntary manslaughter.
Attorney General Michelle Henry emphasized the severity of Wolfe’s actions, stating, “The defendant showed a complete disregard for human life when he provided these drugs — which he knew contained fentanyl — to the victim.” This case highlights the devastating impact of drug trafficking on individuals and communities, as Wolfe’s actions also resulted in two additional non-fatal overdoses.
The prosecution, led by Senior Deputy Attorney General Evan Lowry and Deputy Attorney General Daniel Gleixner, successfully presented evidence that Wolfe exchanged the lethal drugs for McMillen’s vehicle and distributed the substance to others.
