HARRISBURG, PA — The Office of Attorney General, led by Michelle Henry, has announced the apprehension of Robert C. Stull, 46, of Monroe County. Stull faces serious allegations following a search of his Saylorsburg residence on September 12, conducted with the assistance of an FBI bomb squad. The operation uncovered a significant cache of illegal substances and potentially dangerous items, including several pounds of cocaine and methamphetamine, illegal firearms, and 24 improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
The search at Stull’s home on Kunkletown Road was carried out without incident, with none of the explosive devices detonating. Stull has been charged with multiple felony counts, including possession with intent to deliver, illegal possession of firearms, and weapons of mass destruction. He is currently being held with bail set at $250,000 cash.
Attorney General Henry praised the coordinated efforts of law enforcement agencies stating, “The cache of firearms and explosives found at the scene put investigators and the community at great potential risk. I am thankful this arrest was carried out without anyone being hurt.” A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 19.
During the investigation, agents from the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation identified Stull as being involved in the distribution of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and THC products. The Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team also contributed to the operation. The search resulted in the seizure of four pounds of methamphetamine, six pounds of cocaine, three firearms (one with an obliterated serial number), 24 IEDs, $22,409 in cash, and more than 10 pounds of marijuana and THC products.
This case will be prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Christy Schlottman of the Drug Strike Force Section. It is important to note that all charges remain allegations at this stage, and Stull is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
