HARRISBURG, PA — Justin Biser, 45, of Waynesboro, was sentenced this week to 14 to 28 years in prison for sexually assaulting three children and other offenses committed between 2021 and 2023. The former Franklin County youth baseball coach was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life by Senior Judge Kevin A. Hess.
Biser’s sentence follows his January conviction on all 65 counts, which included charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, and manufacturing child pornography. The crimes detailed in court underscored a pattern of trust exploitation, with Biser using his role as a coach to groom and abuse the victims.
“This convicted predator will spend many years behind bars, thanks to the bravery of the victims and the tenacious work of prosecutors and investigators,” stated Attorney General Dave Sunday. “For years, Justin Biser was a wolf in sheep’s clothing, posing as a coach and mentor to children, when he used the position to groom and abuse children and young adults.”
The investigation began with an anonymous tip from one of the juvenile victims. Prosecutors revealed that Biser sexually assaulted three juvenile girls, secretly recorded one of them using hidden cameras on 16 occasions, and filmed two unsuspecting young adults as they undressed in his bathroom.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Julia Van Leeuwen and Senior Deputy Attorney General Jaime Keating.
