WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department has announced the arrest of a Coatesville woman following an alleged street fight in downtown West Chester. The event occurred around 02:20 a.m. on October 21, 2023, when officers responded to a report of a fight in the 50 block of E. Gay Street.
Upon arrival, the police made contact with Navalyna McMillian, a 24-year-old female from Coatesville, who was allegedly engaged in the fight. During her arrest, McMillian reportedly resisted, leading to additional charges.
McMillian has been charged with aggravated assault, assault by a prisoner, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. A preliminary hearing for McMillian is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
