Charges Filed in Hit-and-Run Incident on West Chester Pike

WEST CHESTER, PA — In the aftermath of a hit-and-run accident that took place on February 15, 2024, local police have filed charges against a Newtown Square resident. The incident occurred on the 1600 block of West Chester Pike in Westtown Township.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police were dispatched to the scene at 8:27 a.m. following reports of the incident. Their subsequent investigation led to charges being filed against 38-year-old Michael Thomas Ebright.

Ebright was arrested on February 21, 2024, and is facing multiple charges. These include one count each of accidents involving death or injury, accidents involving death or injury while not properly licensed, failure to stop and give information or render aid, driving while license is suspended, and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility.
