Bust at Turkey Hill: Swift Apprehension of Thief Exposes Active Criminal Warrant

PARKESBURG, PA — The Parkesburg Borough Police Department announced the arrest of 41-year-old Shar-ron M. Thompson on theft and related offenses.

The criminal complaint alleges that on July 16, 2023, at 11:15 pm, officers responded to the Turkey Hill, located at 10 E First Avenue, in response to a theft that had just occurred. An investigation revealed Shar-ron M. Thompson as the perpetrator and he was promptly apprehended without incident. At that time of the arrest, it was also confirmed that Thomspon had an active criminal warrant, previously filed by a neighboring police agency.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled on August 24, 2023, at the Parkesburg District Court at 9:30 am.
