BEAR, DE — A series of alarming public complaints on Friday afternoon led New Castle County police to arrest a Bear man accused of repeatedly exposing himself in busy commercial and residential areas.

According to the New Castle County Division of Police, officers were dispatched around 4:25 p.m. on Friday, February 6, to the area of Songsmith Drive and Carvel Lane after witnesses reported a man with his pants down allegedly exposing himself to passing motorists. Witnesses provided officers with a description of the suspect’s clothing.

Police said officers later located an individual matching that description near a business on Quintilio Drive. While officers were speaking with the suspect, another individual came forward and reported that the same man had allegedly exposed himself earlier in front of a business in the 400 block of Governors Place. That portion of the investigation was handled by the Delaware State Police.
