The incident occurred on the evening of January 14, 2024, at approximately 9:44 PM, in the 100 block of North Willow Street, within Kennett Square Borough. At the time, officers from the Kennett Square Police Department and Emergency Medical Services personnel were reportedly trying to transport Herrera-Bedolla to the hospital for evaluations due to concerns about his mental state.
