KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The Kennett Square Police Department has announced that an arrest warrant was issued on March 6, 2024, for Angela Rosado, following her failure to appear at a preliminary hearing. The charges against Rosado stem from an incident that allegedly took place a year ago.

On March 8, 2023, officers responded to a report of fraud in the 300 Block of Marshall Street, Kennett Square Borough. The reporting party claimed his cell phone had been stolen about a month prior in Philadelphia, PA. After obtaining a new phone, the individual noticed that someone had transferred money from his bank account into another account via CashApp on the stolen phone. The transactions occurred three separate times, totaling $720.

Upon further investigation and the issuance of two search warrants, it was determined that the account receiving the transferred funds allegedly belonged to Angela Rosado, 34, of Philadelphia, PA. A criminal complaint was filed at District Court 15-3-04 on October 13, 2023.

Rosado is described as a 34-year-old black female, weighing 245 lbs, with brown hair and eyes. She faces multiple charges, including one count of access device fraud, one count of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition, and one count of receiving stolen property.

Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Kennett Square Police Department at 610-444-0501 or submit a tip online. As the investigation continues, more details may emerge. It’s important to remember that these are allegations, and Rosado is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
