WILMINGTON, DE — A man and a woman were arrested after Wilmington police responded to a reported robbery in the city Tuesday morning and located two suspects matching descriptions provided by the victim.
According to Wilmington Police, officers with the Uniformed Services Division responded at approximately 10:57 a.m. on May 26 to the 1000 block of West 4th Street for a reported robbery. Police said officers made contact with the victim and obtained descriptions of the individuals allegedly involved.
Police reported that officers conducted an area canvass and located two people matching those descriptions near the intersection of Tulip and South Clayton streets. According to investigators, 35-year-old Skyler Mulford and 22-year-old Cayana Dorsey were taken into custody without incident.
Police said Mulford was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. According to court records, he was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $8,000 secured bail.
