Who Shot Teen? Police Probe Wilmington Gun Violence

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old woman injured Friday evening.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded at approximately 6:48 p.m. July 10 to the 2900 block of North Jefferson Street for a reported shooting.

Police said officers located an 18-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators have not released information about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
