PARKESBURG, PA — A Chester County man is facing assault charges following an incident in June in Parkesburg, say police.
According to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department, criminal charges were filed against Nicholas Arment, 48, on June 24 in connection with an incident that occurred June 22 in the 300 block of Strasburg Avenue.
Police said Arment has been charged with simple assault and related offenses. Authorities did not release additional details about the circumstances of the incident or whether anyone was injured.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled to be held before District Court 15-3-07, according to police.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
